East Sussex

Depending where you live in East Sussex, you may be registered for maternity  care at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Princess Royal Hospital, the Conquest Hospital  or Eastbourne hospital.

There is a neonatal intensive care unit at the  Royal Sussex County hospital (the Trevor Mann baby unit) and it shares a site with the famous Royal Alexandra children’s Hospital meaning that complex care can be provided for newborn babies, including some surgery. There is a special care baby unit at the Conquest hospital, providing care to babies needing extra support after birth, particularly those born a few weeks early.
